From Pebble 1.9 to 2.0 RC2
Overall I am happy with pebble, especially since Simon keeps updating it periodically.
It was not easy to upgrade because pebble 2.0 requires Java 1.5 and my Free BSD is not one of the supported platforms by Sun. So I had to wait to get a port.
I was facing so many problems with responses/comments management. Thankfully the new update works fine for me except with some blank posts. Some SPAM posters post a blank comment and pebble throws an exception if I try to remove them.
I have to find a way to make it recognize my old categories. Just adding the same categories did not work.
I also have to figure out who to bring back my old theme.
The calendar on the sidebar does not go back to the last year. So it is better to use the links next to the "Home" link to navigate to past months.
For some strange reason the list of my recent posts on my home page, that is dynamically built from the rss.xml has stopped working. I have to look into that too.
It has a new Rich text editor. A spell check feature would have been great :)
More after I look into it again during the weekend.
